Posted on April 29, 2022 under Career & Work
The way we choose our careers is changing on a mass scale. More and more people are asking how to find their authentic career path and get their dream job.
Before the pandemic and after the 2016 election, I noticed with my clients that they felt less secure around jobs. They were more activated to be proactive.
This was a disruption to the normal pattern because job hunting used to be cyclical.
People searched during the spring and fall.
The summer was dead.
There was some transition between Xmas and NYE.
The recent administration flattened the curve. Now, people look all the time for jobs.
This resulted in increased instability in the market.
The instability made people think, ‘maybe I should have a roadmap about where I'm going in regards to my job and career.'
But generally, this concept was still considered a luxury, or just nice to have. Not a necessity.
Then, COVID shook the world so hard that people were forced to look at their values when they were fired.
Or they were brought to their knees to finally surrender to doing the work that they've been called to do for years.
I've always shouted from the mountain top to let yourself be guided by your path, vision, values and what works for you.
I've had my ‘Discover Your Career Path Program' as part of my coaching forever.
I've helped my clients discover their career paths and land their dream jobs since before it was even accepted by the mainstream.
You are running naked in the streets without it.
