The speed of your business and career directly correlates to your ability to make rapid and sound decisions.
The more decisions you make, the faster you gain more employment opportunities, grow your client base, or hit your financial goals.
And conversely, the more you hesitate, procrastinate, and double-guess what you deep-down already know to be true, the more you will slow down or halt any progress that you desire.
Indecision is a painful cycle of unrealized dreams clouded by the triple-threat of fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
Indecision is nothing but the perpetuation of horrible self-abuse.
Yes, I said self-abuse.
It's how we keep ourselves safe in our familiar, yet crappy, situations.
We know from bitter experience that we can survive this awful situation, so we gamble away our potential to stay “safe” in a place that isn't safe.
The unfamiliar – even the incredibly positive unfamiliar – is dripping with the dread of the unknown. We've never been here before so we don't know.
The good news is that it's a behavioral habit that can be changed…IF and only if you DECIDE to break up with indecision.
Are you ready to drop indecision like a hot potato?
It requires saying YES to what you want on a newer, higher level that you've never done before.
I means 1000% dedication to creating the future outcomes you want.
It looks like living life in the final 24 hours of your life. Would you hesitate and hem and haw then? I think not.
Kick indecision to the curb TODAY.
Here's how to break up with indecision:
- Write down a decision you've been actively avoiding
- How is indecision keeping me in the familiar?
- What is the naked truth about the situation?
- What is the hands-down winning solution you're afraid to do?
- Commit to doing it and how to measure it.
Here's an example of what it looks like:
- I've been avoiding investing in social media marketing.
- Indecision keeps me playing small and off the radar.
- The naked truth is that I must be visible on LinkedIn to attract the right people – partners, clients and suppliers.
- The winning solution is to invest in a LinkedIn technology and/or professional.
- I will meet with 3 LinkedIn providers or solutions by October 31st.
Breaking through the chains of indecision is an entirely freeing experience and exponentially increases your ability to make change happen NOW.
