Did you know age based job discrimination starts in your 30’s?

Yes, you read correctly.

That makes the majority of the workforce “too old”.

Also, I hear from my 20-something clients they are labeled as “kids” who are too young for responsibility and compensation even if they are the most significant achievers of results.

There is no “good age”.

I’m GenX, which means I’m the forgotten generation stuck between two huge populations.

As a bridge to Boomers and Millennials, and as a peer to my Xers, I hear your concerns.

It’s all goddam unfair.

I’ve been made ill and furious hearing your personal stories injustices.

Maybe one day corporate America will be more human.

But today it is not.

Right now you need to play a smart game.

What does that mean? It means you’ve got to stand firm in your value.

Thus, you must broken-record style articulate what you DO better than anyone else.

You sell, market, design, manage, write, process, teach, etc.

At age 25 or 65 all managers wants results.

Will you experience age based job discrimination? Probably.

However, that’s what a strong, deep pipeline of leads is for as well as other bold mitigation tactics you should use.

So, what's your #1 result to share with influencers?
