Acceptance is the key to saying YES to your next job.
There is a great power in embracing your strengths – both in what you can do and who you truly are.
Most people have a lower level of awareness and appreciation of their own unique qualities than how they are perceived by others.
As a result, many people devalue their natural talents because they are disillusioned by the belief “oh, everybody can do that.”
This is simply not true!
Not everyone can do everything.
Your strength is someone else's weakness and vice versa.
The mental trap is – if it's easy to you, you believe it's not valuable… which leads to you not highlighting it to others. Or not asking for more competitive compensation.
Conversely, you think if it's personally hard to perform then it must be valuable and where you need to emphasize. Which can be true but not necessarily the best route).
Do you really want to make work harder than it has to be?
Why are you denying your gifts?
Accept the gifts you've been given AND share them with others.
What can you accept about your talents?
