I’m Not Willing

Posted on August 28, 2015 under Entrepreneurs, Leadership, Mindset

Think of that elusive goal you haven't achieved yet.

That one precious goal which has escaped your grasp for months, years, or possibly even decades.

Are you clear on what it is?  I mean really specifically clear.

Not just a generalized idea such as “I want to make more money” or “I want to lose weight”.

I'm talking about “I will increase my salary from $100K to $150K in the next 12 months” or “I will go from a size 14 to a size 8 dress before my birthday”.

Can you see it in your mind now?

Great.

Now I'm going to tell you why you haven't achieved your beloved goal.

Are you ready?

You haven't achieved your goal because you're simply not willing to do the one thing that will achieve the goal.

You are not willing.

You are not willing to take the action you know you need to take to get what you want.

This is not a matter of claiming you don't know what to do – and I won't let you use this as your lame excuse for inertia.

Here's exactly how you know what to do.

Ask yourself – what's the one step you're not taking that you have the most resistance to doing?

Guess what?  That's the step you must take to get what you want.

The Breakthrough is in the Resistance.

What resistance look like?

I want you to get what you want.

Actually, I want you to get even more than you've ever dreamed of.

Take a hard look at what you're not doing and there you will find the answer to what you need to do next.
